Tesero enjoys the advantage of being centrally located in relation to the Val di Fiemme.
With its 2600 inhabitants, it is an important tourist center also thanks to its proximity to the Centro del Fondo in Lago di Tesero (which hosted the Nordic Ski World Championships in 1991, 2003, and 2013) and the extensive ski area of the Ski Center Latemar, which extends from the altitude of 1757 m of Alpe di Pampeago towards Predazzo and Obereggen for a total of 40 km of slopes.
The opening in 2006 of the first Nordic Walking Park in Trentino with 60 km of marked trails has been of great resonance, and today it is frequented by many fitness and wellness enthusiasts.
Tesero also boasts numerous proposals for both summer and winter tourism; in Lago di Tesero, there is a recreational center with sport fishing
